Some users reported issues with using the latest version of Outlook 365 with email hosted on Pacific Coast Data servers.

Microsoft's latest Outlook wants to sync your emails, events, and calendar data to the Microsoft Cloud. Previous security settings on our server had interfered with this for some users. If you still wish to use the new Outlook make the switch to the new Outlook and try setting it up again. The server settings below require a domain secured with a valid SSL certificate. If you're not sure what to enter you can safely use the settings shown below. Although, make sure you're using a valid email address and it's password.

When in the new Outlook if your accounts from the previous version of Outlook are already there click on the one to setup. If you have no accounts Outlook should prompt you to set one up. This process also works for adding new accounts in Outlook.

Enter your password for the email account entered earlier and toggle the "Show More" switch, if it's there. You will want to see the advanced settings to get this right. This option may show up on the next page if Outlook needs more information during account set up.

Verify your settings as follows:

Password: password for the email address you're setting up.

IMAP or POP3 Incoming server: mail.pacificcoastdata.com

IMAP Port: 993 OR POP3 Port: 995

Secure Connection Type: SSL / TLS (Recommended)

SMTP Configuration:
SMTP username: your complete email address. For example: mailuser@pacificcoastdata.com
SMTP Outgoing server: mail.pacificcoastdata.com
SMTP Port: 465
Secure Connection Type: SSL / TLS (Recommended)

Verify all of you settings before proceeding. If it looks good then click Continue. Outlook will connect to your servers and you can start using your email hosted at Pacific Coast Data.

If you still have trouble please open a support ticket for help.
